Polychaos dubium

Genus: Pseudopods meld at bases during polypodial locomotion; nucleus oval (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
Usually polypodial; pseudopodia sometimes flattening and broadening towards ends; may be monopodial in
rapid locomotion; no dorsal ridges (Page, 1976).
Species: Polypodal, 100-400 μm long;
ecto- & endoplasm clear; nucleus, ellipsoid, 37-40 by 30-32 μm (Illustrated Guide, 1985).
200-400 μm; rarely monopodial; nucleus a prolate spheroid, 30-40 μm (Page, 1976).
400 μm; an average of 12 pseudopodia (How to know the protozoa, 1979).
