Trachelomonasx intermedia
Dangeard, 1901

Trachelomonas Species: Lorica broad ellipsoidal, 19-22 μm long, 15-17 μm wide, surface granulated, no collar but periphery of the opening thickened, 4-5 chloroplasts cup-shaped, with a pyrenoid covered by paramylon sheath (An Illustrated Guide to Freshwater Zooplankton in Japan, 2000).
Lorica spherical or ovoid, slightly narrowed to anterior end, 20-25 μm long, 16-18 μm wide; surface dotted; collar absent but periphery of flagellar opening thickened (Illustrations of The Japanese Fresh-water Algae, 1977).
